DocDoctor
Lists that jump from 2 to 4. Numbers typed by hand. Seventeen styles nobody created on purpose. DocDoctor diagnoses what's wrong with a Word document — and repairs it in one pass.

The document that fights back
You know this document. It's been through five authors and a hundred tracked changes. The numbering restarts at random. Half the headings are real Heading 2s, the other half are bold 14pt Normal. Someone typed "7." by hand and now Word and reality disagree about what comes next. Fixing it manually means an afternoon of clicking — and usually making it worse.
DocDoctor examines the patient first. The free diagnostic report shows exactly what's wrong and where: direct formatting overrides, rogue styles in use, broken or skipped list numbering, hand-typed numbers masquerading as lists. Pro then fixes each finding in one click — and is honest when Word's API on your platform won't allow a particular repair.

FAQ
Can every problem be fixed automatically?
Honest answer: not always. Word's add-in API exposes different capabilities on different platforms. DocDoctor diagnoses everywhere; a fix button only appears when the fix is actually possible on your platform, and the pane tells you when it isn't — no silent failures.
Will it destroy my intentional formatting?
No. Stripping direct formatting preserves bold and italic, fixes run on your selection or the whole document — your choice — and Ctrl+Z undoes any pass.
Does my document leave Word?
No. Diagnosis and repair run locally in your Word session. No uploads, no analytics. See the privacy policy.
Refunds?
30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked — reply to your Gumroad receipt or email [email protected].
