HeaderHawk
"Where did this email actually come from, and why did it take four hours?" HeaderHawk turns the raw header wall into verdicts and a delivery timeline — right inside Outlook.

The answer is in the headers. The headers are unreadable.
Delayed mail, spoofing suspicions, "did this really come through our server?" — every one of those questions is answered in the message headers. But headers are a hundred lines of dense machine text, the new Outlook makes them hard to even find, and the COM-era header viewers are gone.
HeaderHawk parses them where you are. One click and the wall of text becomes three things: authentication verdicts (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) as pass/fail badges, a delivery timeline built from the Received chain — every hop, with the delay each one added — and the rest grouped and labeled. Parsing runs entirely in your Outlook session; nothing is sent anywhere.

FAQ
Why can't I just view headers in the new Outlook?
You can, barely — they're tucked away and shown as raw text. HeaderHawk's point isn't access, it's comprehension: verdict badges, a hop-by-hop timeline with delays, and grouping that makes the other ninety lines scannable.
Are the headers sent anywhere for parsing?
No. Outlook hands the headers to the add-in locally and all parsing — including the Received-chain analysis — happens in your session. No uploads, no analytics. See the privacy policy.
How accurate is the timeline?
As accurate as the headers themselves: each server stamps its own clock, so a hop's delay can occasionally look negative or inflated by clock skew. HeaderHawk flags suspicious timestamps instead of hiding them — the parser is tested against a corpus of real-world Received headers.
