SenderNotes
"Wait — what did we agree last time?" SenderNotes shows your private notes about a person the moment their email arrives. A CRM's most useful 10%, without the CRM.

The context lives in your head. Until it doesn't.
Prefers calls over email. Asked for the discount in March. Don't mention the merger. The little facts that make you good with people are scattered across your memory, old threads and sticky notes on your monitor — and a full CRM is wild overkill for "remember this about Anna".
SenderNotes pins your notes to the sender's address. Open any email and the pane shows everything you've written about that person, timestamped; add a new note in seconds. Keyed by email address — the one identifier that stays stable — and stored in your own mailbox settings, so it syncs with your account and never touches anyone's server, including ours.
Free vs Pro
Free remembers 15 people. Pro remembers everyone — and lets you take your data with you. One payment, no subscription.

How it works
Install the free add-in
Two minutes, no account, no card. Add it via Outlook's Get add-ins dialog — see the install guide.
Write notes as you read mail
Open an email, jot a note — next time that person writes, it's on screen. Free forever for 15 senders.
Unlock Pro when you need it
Buy once on Gumroad, paste your license key into the pane. Unlimited senders, tags and backup unlock instantly.
Installing SenderNotes
In Outlook: Get add-ins › My add-ins › Add a custom add-in, then add the SenderNotes manifest from URL or file. A SenderNotes button appears when you're reading a message.
Coming to AppSource: SenderNotes is being submitted to Microsoft's add-in marketplace, after which it installs in one click from inside Outlook. Sideloading works today.
FAQ
Can the people I write notes about ever see them?
No. Notes live in your mailbox's add-in settings, visible only to you. They're not in the emails, not on our servers (we don't have servers for your data), and they never travel with a message.
How much can it store?
Outlook gives add-ins 32 KB of roaming settings — enough for hundreds of concise notes, but not infinite. SenderNotes shows a usage meter instead of pretending the limit doesn't exist, and Pro's JSON export lets you archive old notes anytime.
Why key notes by address instead of linking to emails?
Because email addresses are stable and Outlook's internal message IDs aren't — they can change when items move. Keying by sender is the design that keeps working, which is exactly why we chose it.
