SignSwitch
One signature for clients, one for colleagues, one in Dutch. SignSwitch stores them all and picks the right one — automatically, by who you're writing to.
€24 one-time · free tier, free forever · 30-day money-back
The formal signature went to your teammate. Again.
Anyone who emails in two languages, wears two hats, or serves two kinds of audience needs more than one signature. Outlook's built-in options are thin, and the old signature-switcher add-ins are COM-based — the new Outlook for Windows won't load them.
SignSwitch keeps your signatures in one pane and switches them for
you. Free stores two signatures and auto-inserts your default on
every new message. Pro picks the signature by the first recipient's domain
— type anna@client.com and the client signature swaps in —
plus separate defaults for new messages and replies. Honest note: this is a
personal tool; org-wide server-side signatures are a different product
category.
Free vs Pro
Free handles two signatures and a default. Pro does the switching for you. One payment, no subscription.

How it works
Install the free add-in
Two minutes, no account, no card. Add it via Outlook's Get add-ins dialog — see the install guide.
Create your signatures
Write up to two signatures in the pane; your default appears on every new message. Free forever — not a trial.
Unlock Pro when you need it
Buy once on Gumroad, paste your license key into the pane. Domain rules and unlimited signatures unlock instantly.
Installing SignSwitch
In Outlook: Get add-ins › My add-ins › Add a custom add-in, then add the SignSwitch manifest from URL or file. The pane manages signatures; insertion happens automatically on compose.
Coming to AppSource: SignSwitch is being submitted to Microsoft's add-in marketplace, after which it installs in one click from inside Outlook. Sideloading works today.
FAQ
Which Outlook versions support the automatic parts?
Auto-insert on new messages needs Outlook's on-compose events (new Outlook for Windows, web, Mac, recent Microsoft 365 builds). Auto-pick by recipient needs a newer event still; SignSwitch feature-detects both and falls back to one-click manual insert where an event isn't available — it tells you which mode you're in rather than failing silently.
Can it manage signatures for my whole company?
No, and we'd rather say so up front: SignSwitch is a personal tool. Org-wide, server-stamped signatures need a server-side product — a different category with different trade-offs.
Where do my signatures live?
In Outlook's roaming settings inside your own mailbox, with a usage meter so you can see the space they take. Pro's JSON export means you always own a copy. Nothing is uploaded to us. See the privacy policy.
